Dear Apple Dumpling Gang Families,
It’s hard to believe that another year has
passed, but it’s true. Time seems to move so fast around here.
Melinda and I would like to take this opportunity to express our
sincere appreciation to each of you for allowing us to be a part
of your family. We are truly blessed by your children.
This year has been another year of tremendous
growth and changes for our center. We’ve added flooring and
paint, a new toddler playground (one with plenty of grass), new
furniture and toys, not to mention a number of new appliances
for the kitchen. The list could go on and on.
We’ve been able to add some outstanding new team
members to the ADG staff this past year. Miss Nikki who teams
with Miss Jenny in our Pre-Toddler room, Miss Jenn who assist
Miss Tina in the Toddler room, and our newest team member Miss
Jessica, who completes our Infant room team with Miss Denise.
As many of you already know this past year we
were able to continue our current status as a STARS level 3
school (the only one in Mechanicsburg). We are proud to have 3
more team members earn their CDA credential in Early Childhood
Education and 1 earn their Director’s Certificate. We are also
looking very seriously at expanding our center’s capacity by
adding additional class space; please be in prayer with us as we
look into this option.
On the FORMS page, please
find our 2008-09 school year rate sheet. These rates go into
effect Monday, June 30. New families who enroll with us will pay
a $65 registration fee; existing families will pay the yearly
$40 program fee. We offer a 5% discount to all families who have
multiple children in our center. The discount applies to the
oldest child. We have added a 4 day a week program to help
assist many of our new families.
Once again allow me to thank you for allowing us
the opportunity to serve you and your family. It is because of
your faithfulness to us that I can say that we are already full
for the coming fall; your referrals and recommendations mean
everything to us. As always we are committed to working together
to make this the best experience we can outside of your home for
